About MeHello! My name is Maura Williams. I spent most of my growing up years in Mexico, my native country. In 2001, I got married and moved to Clovis, New Mexico. My husband and I lived at Cannon Air Force Base for 5 years and then we moved to Illinois. During these years, we did welcome 3 new family members: our daughter Neenah and our two dogs, Tequila and Jose. I attended Illinois State University and graduated in 2008. Upon graduating, I received an offer to teach middle school Spanish at Epiphany Catholic School. Finally, in 2010, we moved to Mahomet and got a job at Urbana High School as a bilingual teacher. I have been working there for almost 4 years.
My favorite things to do: Dancing, reading, and watching documentaries. My favorite food: Mangoes and plain yogurt. My favorite book: Don Quixote and El espejo enterrado My favorite place: My home My favorite color: Green My favorite drinks: Green tea, coffee, and water.
